HOSTS

Friends for decades - Dawn, Jeanne, Joelle and Paula came together for a coffee date late 2021 post pandemic. We were all hungry for more creativity and connectivity.

We made a pact to explore this hunger together. We began with a series of thought questions, and met monthly to share our work over conversation, small bites and cocktails.

It became clear early on that we were not alone in this desire to express unfullfilled creative and social energy!

Through this shared experience LE FLANEUR CLUB was born. Guided by our own varied experiences, we’ve developed a workshop for fellow seekers. Together we will prioritize time to think, dream, wander. To get lost in thought in order to find purpose.

We will send you off with inspiration, techniques and tools to guide your path.

Joelle

I have always wanted to draw and paint, wrap and give. My freelancing illustration has been featured in books, book covers, customizable children’s books (Loving Lion Books), packaging, gift bags, patterns for fabric, to name a few. I worked at a paper gift company for 10 years, I loved that job. I also screenprint designs and product with a group named Local Produce.

Le Flaneur has been about progress and the practice of it. We have been motivated to have more creative joy, support, and fellowship in that.

Dawn

I had the pleasure of growing up with entrepreneurial parents, which helped craft my passion for culture, travel, and fashion.

After studying Sociology & Int’l Economics in college, my business career took flight, and I have been a sales executive within the paper, beauty & fragrance industries for three decades. Building consumer brands & collaborating with top retailers and designers to bring thoughtful product to life has been a true joy & gift.

Paula

I’m a freelance prop and wardrobe stylist based in Minneapolis. I love telling stories with products and props. All of my work begins with understanding the product and the brand. I walk the path with my clients, helping them refine their style and create clear, spontaneous, and natural images. I love collaborating with other creatives, cultivating images that evoke beauty and curiosity.

Jeanne

For 20+ years I have worked as an illustrator, trend seeker and creative director for product design companies.  Through my travels I’ve emersed myself in design trend, refining my ability to create market-right product. My art and design work has found placement from Target to MOMA.

I have enjoyed my career but began to struggle with a persistent restlessness. My connections to le Flaneur Club helped me find my way back to art-making. I’m not sure how this will work out, but I am on a path to find out!
